VP, Technology and Software Innovation

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a progressive, creative and strategic technology leader to spearhead software innovation and to manage, mentor and grow an engineering and quality assurance practice with 20+ individuals working across an eclectic range of technologies and platforms. Our team works on projects ranging from developing dynamic websites to mobile applications to enterprise solutions utilizing industry standards. We are mindful of emerging technologies and platforms including but not limited to HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery on the client-side, and .NET, Java and PHP on the server-side. Projects typically utilize a number of technologies including Content Management System, Portal Framework and Mobile / Tablet devices.

Skills/Qualifications

  • Dynamic and progressive technology leader with proven expertise in managing web development and/or emerging platform development teams within a more creative, design-driven culture.  
  • Deep knowledge of key trends at the intersection of brand marketing, digital media and software innovation with a vision for how technology can shape these challenges and opportunities. 
  • Adept at straddling the worlds of the CTO/CIO and CMO/CCO and the poise, sophistication and perspective to craft, lead and communicate technical strategies to senior corporate leaders.
  • Stellar track record of leading, managing, mentoring and growing teams with an emphasis on innovation, excellence, perspective, curiosity, accountability and individual growth.  
  • You are collaborative, opinionated, agile, decisive and actively engaged in the digital media revolution.
  • You are a “creative technologist” with a clear passion for innovating the way companies and consumers connect through digital media products, services and brand experiences.
